serves dinner and cocktails in the heart of historic Shelburne that transcends tradition and modernity to offer a comfortable, classy and overwhelmingly welcoming public house for locals and visitors alike.
Peg & Ter’s was started by husband and wife team Tina and Johnny Helzer. Its essence can be found in its namesake. This space is dedicated to Tina’s late parents Peggy and Terry, and while they are no longer with us, their spirit lives on in this humble establishment. Peg & Ter were the consummate hosts, always ready with a cocktail and a smile for their friends at the strike of 5 o’clock. Tina and Johnny strive to embody their hospitality, their deep value of community, and love of a good dinner party.
